    U.S. Army Rank Insignia

I am looking for both Officer and Enlisted Rank Insignias, I can find all of the jpeg images that I could possibly want, but I cannot find a vectorized image, or stl images of any of them. Any elp would be appreciated.

Using Gimp to edit the image and wintopo to convert to vectors you can come up with some decent dxfs. You will have to clean the vector up alittle. Both programs are free and easy to use. It does take a little practice and patience to get it the way you want it. I'm not great at it, but can get close to what I want and edit the vectors to my applications.

Looks good to me Chuck! I use Inkscape and have not yet been satisified with results. Will try your method next.

I redraw a whole new really big really clean image (in photoshop with a pen tablet), then raster to vector works a lot better (autotrace).

For me that's easier and comes out better than using ordinary images like that for R2V

    Tomino,

The image you posted is poor, in the future please post 300 dpi image for better results.

Hope this is ok for your project.
