Hi, I just bought a Eagle 400 CNC with the Anilam 1100m on it. It seems like a great machine but I just can't seem to get my posting right from Mastercam 8 (which has a built in post for the 1100m). I've created some simple contouring programs with Mastercn but when I send the program over to the machine and then try to load it I will either get a "abnormal program termination" error which locks up the machine or I will get something successfully loaded but then it will hang on a line of code. There were some programs in the machine when I bought it and they run just fine. Are these things just super particular with the posting architecture or what? If anyone is familiar with these machines and knows what I am doing wrong any help will be greatly appreciated.

maxvic, did you get your problem resolved? I am having a similar problem but running x4 and my mill has an anilam 3000 control. I get the abnormal program termination error also which locks up the screen. I also notice that mastercam posts the conversational code with a U in almost all lines. Do you know what the U is for.

Hi Rofuth, the abnormal program termination (according to Anilam) is more of a corrupted BIOS problem over anything else. I am currently waiting for my board to come back from Anilam. I have Mastercam 8 and when I post programs they do not contain a U anywhere, the programs pretty much look just like programs made at the machine and I am hoping that they work once I get my board back. Once I get my machine up and running I can send you a sample program so you can get the posting right if you want (won't be for a bit though).
