I am considering relocating to Austin. Is this a career opportunity?

Not immediately - if you are considering a career in education, I can certainly help you with that transition, or if you would like to work for Samsung or National Instruments, we have mentors from those companies you can network with, but besides the occasional pizza party, access to the fab shop and gratitude of some poor underpaid teachers and their students there is no direct compensation involved.
