    Acme in Canada?

    Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone has ever found Acme 5 start leadscrews north of the border.
    Cheers!

Fastenal only lists GP ACME T-rod.
Any bearing supply company can set you up with precision grade.
The odds are REALLY good that they will bring it in from a US manufacturer anyway though.

Try snbinc.ca. I've ordered twice from them. Sam is responsive to emails and the product is excellent. Takes him about a week before he ships.

    Ordered from Sam today.
Price is higher than from McMaster to be sure, but no border fees and reasonable shipping rates.
    Cheers and thanks.

Not that McMaster's will ship to Canada unless you have a corporate account with them. If I had to order from a US supplier I would ship to a ups store on the us side and pick it up as I live close to the border. There are other Canadian suppliers but in the end I found SNB to be the cheapest and easiest option. Once again takes a week before he ships. The 1/2-10 5 start I got was a perfect fit to the dumpster leadnuts and collars.
