    Got it today and tried out some engraving with it which turned out great. I have a part to make out of 6061 that requires some finishing with an 1/8" EM, so I can't wait to try cutting it with a proper speed!

    It's a little scary right when it starts up- the belts slip like crazy, but overall, I'm very impressed with the way it runs.

    If that is the case program some accel into the VFD so you are not forcing it to start to fast. A 3-5 second ramp should do it nicely.
