Yes, your program may be fine, the big question is ¿WHAT do you need to modify???
To be able to help you, send ( either post here or PM) the complete scprt file, included the machined inc,and a posted nc file, marking exactly the changes you want to make.

    Hi,
I want to modify the Generic.L surfCam’s post by adding the cycles of my wabeco CC-D100 lathe:
    1. Interior turning
    G81 X.. Z.. Q.. F..S.. H..
    2. Drilling cycle
    G82 Z.. Q.. F..S..H..
    3. Groove/Slicing cycle
    G82 X..Q..F..S..H..
    4. Longitudinal cutting cycle
    G84 X.. Z..Q..F..S..H
    5. Facing cutting cycle
    G85 X..Z..Q..F..S..H..
    6.Thread cutting
    G87 X..Z..I..Q..S..H..
    Where:
X is the end diameter (for thread cutting, is the outside diameter minus thread depth)
Z is the end position in Z
    F is the feed rate
    S is the spindle rpm
    I is the thread pitch
    H is the depth in X direction for G81, G82, G84, G85 and G87 (the depth in Z direction for G82)
Q is the smooth dimension (Safety distance for thread cutting) .
Your help will be very appreciated.

    Hi Gueraiche:
To begin with, the only cycles supported by Surfcam are the ones related to drilling and threading.
Besides it, you have a lot better tool control with regular Nc Surfcam functions than wabeco cycles; for instance ID turning, can control either roughing / finishing or both, several offsets types, many finishing passes and spring passes.
Pro sugestion: accept and stay with the Nc options provided by Surfcam.

Is it possible to create any cycle with CAMpost

    Hi mariojl;
Thank you for your reply. I had created a postprocessor by modifying generic.L2 .
For the moment, the Wabeco CC-D100.L2 created post is operational. Peck , drill , turn ID and autothread are modified. For the rest of cycles i used emulated cycles of surfCAM with G0 and G1 ...
I had understood from your reply Mariojl that we can't create cycles expect drilling and threading ones. For me, i want to create all cycles despite a lot better tool control is insured with regular Nc Surfcam functions . I dont know if it's possible to create them with CAMpost.

    Best regards.

Sorry, but I'm a dealer; I only provide help about SURFCAM.
    Regards.
