Only thing about measuring off top off profiles, is that they are not perfectly FLAT. Try staying close to corner other than right across top of profile.
Works nice with small motors.

More progress on the Predator. Final wiring is being done now with a C10 and C6 board, controllers and power supply are completed.

Adding mass to anything will make it stronger and less vibration. With cutting aluminum it makes big deference. With lager Tekno spindle would help a lot and could take far deeper cuts. Having the new 13 inch travel Z axis,bar would be needed

No there not the same . That motor mount is for nema34.
