Wow that "eCNC" place is actually right down the road from me like 10 minutes away! If he has things all figured out I should see about visiting. So at this point my mill kinda works. I have the weird load meter reading, the spindle doesn't spool up or stop as fast as it did, and the tool changing isn't working because the spindle orientation has some issue. Will I never catch a break? Good grief!

Glad to hear that, maybe you'll need to tune spindle ramp up/down parameters in the drive.
The spindle orientation error is rather weird, i'm almost sure it has "nothing" to do with changing the drive besides an error maybe in the spindle brake.
