    Odd treadmill wiring

Has any one ever wirred a tread mill motor that looks like this one. It looks nothing like the one on my SX1. This one has 6 brushes and 4 wires. My thoughts is two of the wires go to a tachometer .
    Can any one confirm that?

The 2 blue wires are generally for a thermal overload protection to shut down the treadmill if someone too fat tries to run on it. lol

That just looks like an endbell? Is there more to it?

You mean there is more to the motor ? ...
JK Ya its the end I just figured any one who cared knows what the rest of a DC motor looks like.
Ill just hook it up like normal I guess unless I could use the the thermal protection for anything.

It would appear that the red and blk are the motor power, but why put a thermal sensor there?
It is normally on the shell or outer frame?

I thought it was a tach thats were my other one was . But then again my tach was also C shaped and had a slotted disk that ran through the center of it.
So there were some numbers on the resisor and it sent me to this page so it looks like hoss was right . Ill just cut them and do away with them .
