Hello to everybody on this site, great site!!
I just got a Hradinge CHNC4 and I was wondering if anyone did a retrofit on one of these machines what needs to be done and how much it will cost??
I already removed the huge cabinet attached to the lathe and the control.
The cover case also.
The lathe has a 90V 8A DC spindle motor , Tested it and it's running good.
The other 2 servos for the bed and cross slide are in running condition.
The lathe is in mint condition with little use.
Will the servo's need replacement or just add gecko's and go??
Also the spindle motor will be k to use ?? I was thinking to get one of those DC motor controllers to control the speed on it.
Anyway if cost involved / time it's too much for me now I'm considering to SELL THE HARDINGE LATHE.
If anyone interested please shoot me an email at [email protected] before I put it on ebay.
I'm located in Chicago land area.
Thanks
