    Other changes to Raptor.
Top Z axis plate is smaller to have clearance if using higher spindles. Larger top was made to fit nema 34 motors, Demon and Predators have their own z axis for nema34 now so Raptor plate is small again.
Mounting holes for Frame to Table are back to m10

Great to see this George. For those of us using existing backer bars, is there any harm in drilling and tapping the backer bar ourselves?

    Thanks

Just drill right through, and use nut and bolt. you don't need to tap it

    OK, thanks.

I've sent you an email on the Z plate and extension plates. Let me know if it didn't make it through and I'll post here or text.

    Cheers

Yes you can turn z axis plate around or just add extra board to bottom of part.. extension plate you can mount almost any length.

They are very much still business. Drop an email to George at the link provided on the web page. He will respond back so you can work out pricing.
I have a machine from them being delivered next week.
    Great guy to real with.

Right now just the Raptors have the price. New site with Demons and Predators will be up shortly. Predators most likely wont be on site as only have one left and wont be making again unless factory in USA orders more in bulk order

Sounds like you might have a good option there for a kit George. If you're going with Hitachi mounts like me, (maybe the same for the Porter Cable or Makita, not sure) maybe the option gets priced with an extension plate. In my case (old z plate), if I mount the Z plate correctly, I need 3 inches of extension below where I am now. If I invert the Z plate, I need two inches more.

One advantage of using an adapter plate like this might be the ability to pre-mount the router clamps on the adapter, square them up, then mount the adapter plate to the Z plate from the front like the Techno spindle. Would be easier and more adjustable than today. I don't know how expensive it would be to produce a plate that could both front mount and hold the router clamps like this. Could you let me know either here or vial email?

    Thanks
    John

Most people just add spoil board underneath to get part high enough. All mounts you square to z axis plate before putting plate on. You only need to square top mount and slide in spindle and tighten lower mount there. Tighten Z axis plate square with side of the block..
Tekno spindle also has to be squared to mounting plate before putting it on, The design of spindle mounts is to get the most strength from it . adding a flat mounting plate would make it a lot weaker

Hi John , on list i have not got a second to post them yet.
There is a couple of 30 Raptor frames with mistakes, older raptor 24 . older supported frame and a few sets of uprights for people looking to make own machine. None are complete frames.
Outside stand corner set, no inners
Dust boots just the acrylic cut out for tekno and Hitachi.
ABBA profile blocks, 20 and 25mm . supported rail blocks, lots of sizes and a few rails in 20mm .
power supply covers .some ballscrews that need ballnut reloaded.

Hey George, how much do you want for one of those?

Are they suitable for a dusty environment?

    Thanks,
