Hi all,

Thanks,
it means one of the servo amps is bad. look in the back of the machine on each amp for a LED that is lit red. generally not fixable by the average user. call Okuma in to replace it, or send it out to a repair company. generally replacement is about $6k, repair will be cheaper of course but remember fixed now is not permanent it will go bad again because it is old.
Thanks for your help.
each time i get different codes, the firs 4 digits are always the same but the last four changes to : C0C2 or C0C6 or C0C2, is it still the same issue?
it's a hexadecimal memory location, totally irrelevant to everyone except Okuma.. so yes, same issue.
This is an alarm on the za (lathe) axis, complaining about the data coming from the za encoder. Most likely the SVP board or the encoder is bad. Swap them one at a time with known good units. If -the drives (BL-D or BL2-D) were bad, they would have an alarm LED lit or not be powered up and the control would have a 201-A alarm. 65-A is a startup (boot) alarm. Usually this alarm is the SVP board. My company fixed both the encoder and the various SVP boards. cncrepair.com
