I need to know how to prevent this from ever happening again, whenever I make certain surfaces, so far, I keep getting the same error. EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. then the program locks up. What or who am I doing wrong?

Gonna need a lot more detail than that. At the very least tell us what version of Surfcam you're using and what kind of surface you're attempting to make.
Sorry surfcam 2014 r2, I may be ignorant to the fact because I am brand new to surfcam, but im making holes and counterbores etc.
What method are you using to make the surfaces? Cross section, Drive curve, etc.
Trim plane, chain select surfaces. then i'll go extrude for the holes and counterbores because I cant get the profiles correct with any other surface creation option. Is that wrong, excuse my ignorance please.
I'm confused, the error isn't coming up anymore and I've changed nothing about the surfaces, I don't know why nor what's different now than before because I literally did the exact same thing.
Haha that's Surfcam for you.
I always draw the "wireframe" first then just connect everything.
Good to know, thanks Mr Billitgrip. I agree, I had the wireframe up already, next process were to create surfaces.
