VK-45-II . ATC stucked in a middle of cycle

    Hi,

there's was a similar post already but it touches va55 only.

I have a similar problem, but i do not know how to properly get the manual control of solenoids.

The thing is - ATC arm stuck right before the spindle and doesnt move on. The error is - All origin return incomplete, and i cannot move any axis in their homes.

I also tried M-codes in Maintenance mode, but they do not work due to an Error above.

Can any one tell me how to manually control the solenoids?

    The problem solved!

Have switched to maintenance mode, then activated maintence M-codes with M998 command and then by M-codes drove the ATC arm to its zero-position

There are two ways to clear your situation. The first is to make commands in "maintenance mode", but hold in on the spindle stop button while you depress cycle start button (this is an override) be sure that you depress cycle start 3 times (1st time it reads command, 2nd time it executes the command, and the 3rd time it clears the command). The second way if the maintenance mode still does not work, you can take a small screwdriver and depress the dimple on the end of the solenoid in the center where the plastic thumb nut holds the coil on the end of the solenoid. This will cause movement, but as soon as you release the depressed dimple, the arm will move back to where it was. The only way to prevent the arm from moving back is to power off the control when you have the arm in the position you want it to be. When you power back on it should read the switches and set the solenoids accordingly.
