CNC Machine stops in middle of run.. How do I earth the Spindle

I have Chinese machine from Sign-CNC

Mach3randomly stops with the error, " Is The Xpod Inserted OK? It has ceased to respond.

From what I now know from the control card manufacturer for the "xhc mach3 motion card" this issue is caused by interference.
The solution is to connect earth to the (PE) of the inverter and to ground the shaft of the spindle..

I have grounded the (PE) of the Inverter and its made no difference, Mach3still randomly looses USB connection to the control card..

So here is my question, How do I earth the spindle shaft? There is no earth wire.. ?

Normally on a induction motor it is not really necessary to ground the shaft, it is often seen on wound rotor motors and the shaft is typically grounded by a commutator-like brush is mounted on the rear shaft with a wire to GND.

If it's a 2.2kw spindle or similar, most people drill and tap the cap and attach the ground wire there.

    Thanks guys..
For a test I wrapped an earth wire around the spindle before try to tap and attach an earth to see if it made a difference.

It made no difference.. I keep getting the random error " Is The Xpod Inserted OK? It has ceased to respond"

I have changed the usb cable its only 1.5 mtrs long.. I am at a loss

Do you think it would be the Control Card..

Do you have a wireless pendant? I found that I got that error message when I had tried to use the pendant, while if I don't use the pendant, I don't get this message.

look at your cable job, is the USB cable laying with motor cables ect? Separate them.
Is the control box right next to the computer with a mess of cables going every where?

Did you turn off all the power management on the computer? Did you go in and turn off power management to the USB ports?
Did you look for loose screw terminal connections in the control box on break out boards and power supplies?

    Thanks For All your thoughts..

I found the problem. it must be a bug in Mach3.. When I started up Mach3 it would ask me what method of connection I want to use.. Printer Port, XPOD, etc.. ( XPOD) is the Usb connection.. Bottom left of screen is an option for : Dont ask me again" I selected this option and the problem has now stopped. It must have something to do with start up and the way Mach3 finds or uses the port..

Anyway, I have been happily CNCing ever since..

    Thanks for you ideas..
