    Hey George,

Is everything good with the profiles now? I'd really like to get started with a build soon.

The RaptorXZ that I've been running is still working great - it has been running for about 3 years now. It has been the backbone of my small business and it has taught me a lot. I am at the point where I am considering a machine that can fit 4'x8' sheets. (Has anyone successfully run a 4'x8' in their garage without wife/neighbors/city on their back?) I would also like to know a ballpark price on a Demon kit. Thanks!

Low cost machine will sell all parts or some parts. If you have a mill there will be plans for making your own parts to make frame .
DIY frame from as small you want to 20x20 foot size

I'm interested in your plans you have for sale for the 4' x 4' low cost machine. I'm also interested in purchasing parts potentially like the Gantry sides, Complete Z axis assembly, end plates etc. Can you contact me via PM with some pricing for this. We have access to a Haas cnc to make the plates ourselves but time can be an issue on that machine so it may be better to get the plates from you.
We can source the 8020, ballscrews, linear rails, electronics, etc.
Our goal is to build a CNC machine that willl have relatively fast rapids, be able to cut Rohacell foam, MDF, wood for carving designs, and AL to make molds.

    Thanks,

    Terry

    Hi

This is exactly what I have been waiting for!! I am extremely interested in your plans and parts you have for sale for the 4' x 4' low cost machine. Can you please contact me via PM with some pricing for this.
We can source the non-unique aluminium profiles, balls-crews, linear rails, electronics, etc. here in Europe.

    Thanks, in advance

    Regards

    Ian

The kit machines are starting to be made now, Just finished up on the new Predator and Demon machines.
Low cost machines will have different ways ways for ordering from just profile or frame without linear or with everything.
There is a uprights for router and lower uprights for laser and plasma machines

Are the Demon routers completely ready to go now? I need to get a machine together quickly. I've got some ideas for a modified version of the low cost router too, let me know what components you have in stock so I can figure out what's going to work best.

    I check daily for news.
However, I know these things take time to get right.

Regular updates of the website would be appreciated.

Thank you George for all your work on these machines.

    Hi Redceder. Thanks.
The holdup has been the covered profile. Because they are precision made profile to high tolerances the die has to go for correction a few times .So far it has been 7 times for correction to get to be in tolerance and lead time has been 7 to 10 business days each time . The low cost machine profile also a few times till it’s what it has to be at . If profile was like all other profile company’s tolerances the first time would have worked .
I learned a big lesson a long time ago about doing to many new design machines at one time. So now just one at a time. I started with Predator first because thought it would have been the fastest but that didn’t work out that way . All machines are seating just missing one part which is delivered this Monday .
Once that is done the low cost machine frames will be started. So by end of this week coming I should have the low cost machines ready .
Also just trying to keep up with sales of Raptor and mini Raptor as with all machines shipped in First Friday from ordering to Buffalo NY
If I would have known then about profile I would have started the low cost machine first.
And would have been for sale months ago

As far as strength of low cost machine, it will be close to Demon machine. Only difference is a lot less parts are machined and bit more work setting it up

Biggest differences from low cost to Predator/Demon is the covered profile

End Frame is one machined piece on Demon with pockets for profile . Low cost is 3 parts and a little more work to line up .
