Looks like a nice motor. The inductance of the motor is 5.2mH(+-20%). Find max voltage to motor: 32 * √L = so the max voltage for the motor is 72V, with 6A its around 440W.
How does this perform cost wise to a similar torque dc or ac servo motor ?

The kit looks similar to mine except mine are genuine Leadshine, (very high quality).
I haven't had any trouble with mine which include 1 for the X axis 8Nm, 2 for the Y axis 8Nm, 1 for the Z axis 3Nm and 1 for the A axis 4Nm.
With the encoder on the back the motor should be faster and more accurate than a normal stepper.
If I were to make a new machine I might look at a cheaper brand, but don't feel that a DC servo would give me anything better than what I have now for my application.

Genuine Leadshine? Probably just imported chinese stuff.

So you think they are working good, but have no evidence to show for it.. Allright I will take it as a subjective view..
