    Question Deform multiple lines together?

This seems like it should be simple but I'm not finding the answer for myself
I'm preparing this frog image for V-carving but the lines are too close together to carve deeply enough. In my attached image, the red line is 6 segments. Rather than drag 6 corners, 1 at a time, I'd like to select them all and either drag or deform them to increase the space between the red and blue lines.

Is this possible or must one use the 'one at a time' route?

    Offset the chain

    or

Throw the red line away and explore the spline tools

Either way,you will have to blend into your start and endpoints

.zip a .bbcd file and can show you

BTW,the offset is just approximate that I did,,,a .bbcd file and it will be exact

The newer versions (i believe v27 also) has a sort of "rebuild" built into the spline tools.

Select all your segments, then click on one of the spline tools to get a spline built. Be sure to use layers on this for separation. after you deform the spline, you may want to trim the ends back and use blend spline to get a smooth transition at the connection points.
