    Question Cad/cam Software

    What are the pros and cons between Edgecam , Gibbscam and Mastercam , considering acquiring but need some input on what the differences are between these products ?

    Hi all! What would be the most affordable software capable of controlling a lathe-mill combo?Any ideas?

    buy Mastercam, easy to learn, cheaper then Edgecam and the most sold software in the USA.

    Edgecam is known for the bugs with every update. Gibbscam is only turning and a new cad-cam software, could have a lot of bugs, it is not sold very much here in Holland

    you should consider Topsolid (french from Missler) also I think

    I am very skilled with mastercam but it is very expensive. I was sent a demo of onecnc and was very impressed with its ease of use and its capabilities. If you are starting from scratch I would recommend their product which is a fraction of the price of Mastercam.

    Gibbs is new... since 1984, and not turning only. Get your facts straight.

    you should certainly look at OneCNC.....its great.
