    G43 being cancelled on G28

    The control is Fanuc 32.

I am programming a four axis HMC pallet machine. Before rotary indexing, Z is moved to the reference position to avoid collision. The problem is, G28 G91 Z0 cancels G43. So does G30 and G53. This was never a problem with Okuma post processor. I will modify the post but only if absolutely necessary. I'd rather find out another solution for moving the machine to a safe position without cancelling tool length offset. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Return from home position may automatically re-incorporate G43. May check.
    Such behavior are normally parameter-dependent.

Are you saying that there is a parameter to not cancel G43 on G28, or that there is another G-code that will reapply the previous G43 Hx after G28?

Please check the possibility of length compensation automatically reinstated after return from home position. If so, there is no problem.
I have only i-series manuals. The length-compensation chapter of Operator's Manual needs to be looked into.

Check to see you don't have a G49 anywhere in your program this will cancel the G43 tool offset
