Wiring Up a Shop Sabre 23 CNC Router

Hi - first post here - just setting up my 23 - good guys at Shop Sabre are away for a couple of days, so thought I'd ask here:

    - my machine has the Mitsubishi VFD and 1.7 KW spindle ....will the VFD take std NZ 230V 50 Hz Single Phase input ok and still output the 220V 300 Hz that the motor needs ( I'm in New Zealand where are std power is 240V 50 Hz, and not the std USA 110V 60 Hz... assume the VFD will take single phase ok ? )

    - will the actual machine control also take 240V 50 Hz ... I see the transformer inside the control box says it will take 100-240V 50/60Hz and output is 48V DC? - so assume that is fine.

    Thanks in advance

    Happy 2018 by the way.

    Cheers

You should get a sparkey to wire it up you need a 20 - 25 amp circuit for it.

    ?? - a 1.7KW 200V 300 Hz motor doesn't need anywhere near 25 amps ?? ... I have a sparky working with me.

You'll be fine. 220V 230V 240V pretty much all the same. The motor and drive won't care

Yes - thanks Gippy - all wired up and now working fine 240V 50Hz input in to both the VFD for the motor drive and the controller works fine.... pulls a max of about 9 amps combined motor & controller.
