Hello All,

There is a Cnc lathe with meldas 500 system , QX812 user plc cassette defective and get U10 illegal plc error 000F

There is no plc on our machine anymore

We have orginal plc ,that backup by output menu as(26)type , and also have hardcopy of plc , and create a new and convert LK4 format,

The problem is how we load it machine,

One mits tech say , we need a QX844 RAM card to be installed of CBUS2,then use comu software to send machine by input menu and use ROM cut software ( but no one have Qx844)

Other mits say , you only need input menu , type 99 and input , it can automatically upload to the machine, but 99 only use M60 system as i know,

Anyone help me to do it

You need the RAM cassette.

You can also just send your #26 file to Mits and they can program a new cassette for you.

sorry i need to confirm cause mitsubishi insist about 99 input can load plc (o250) to QX812 cassette, exaclty i need ram cassette, right?

I dont think you could load through RS232. The plc in M500 is read from the PLC cassette during every power on. If you load the data to RAM memory, there is no procedure to write to the cassette using NC.

This procedure does not load a file to the cassette.
