    Desktops yes, but for laptops, they are using Thunderbolt ports with break-out/expansion boxes for RJ45 connections.

    USB-C is the same as Thunderport?!
    I'm usually working with desktops only and the laptop I have is old but this Thunderport is interesting. I did not hear about it so far. Thanks for the heads up.
