I just ordered a couple cheap Meanwell DIN rail supplies on Ebay. I'll test when I get them to make sure there's isolation between them.

I have a few power supplies lying around in my garage. I will have to find a 24Volts one though. so far I only found some 5Volts ones which I can use.
Are those meanwells real ones or fake chinese ones? Do you have a link? Maybe I will have to order a 24 Volts one.
Even the real ones are Chinese, so how do you know??Are those meanwells real ones or fake chinese ones?
I bought these.

I always thought that Meanwell is a US company but I see now that they are Taiwanese.
They are close to China so they probably manufacturing things in China and then you can not know what is real and what is fake.
Wanted to order the 24V power supply a few minutes ago, but the ebay seller on your link does not ship to Europe at all.
I will have to find another listing.
Hi guys,
How to wire fifth axis with AXBB-E ? I plan to build 4 axis machine with dual drive Y slave A. Have somebody here tried one ? Do I need to add another BOB ? Do you think it is better to purchase UC300ETH with 5 axis BOB ?
Please erase ... sorry
Yes my router's gantry is with dual motors. It is controlled with a UC100 though not with a AXBB-E but the AXBB-E also has master/slave axis relations option in the UCCNC just like how the UC100 has that.
I think you can use any of the isolated outputs of the AXBB-E to control a 5th axis and then no need to add an extra BOB or you can add one if you want.
The AXBB has a plus port also. You can connect there a BOB (UCSB or HDBB2 or any other cards) and you have more 12 outputs and 5 inputs. Above the low quality motor drivers most of them have opto-isolated inputs, so you can use non-isolated outputs to drive the motors.
Same question came up in another topic, it was about the G540. You can hook up a G540 to the port#3 of the AXBB-E and add 2 more drives to the AXBB-E outputs to have 6-axis.
Yes, you can hook up a G540 to LPT3 of the AXBB. Or any other parallel port type controller. You can assign the pins freely in UCCNC and soon in the Mach3 plugin. You can also use different types of breakout boards as long as you use pins 2-9 as outputs. The M26 12 relay breakout boards goes great with it:

Hey guys,
I connected 5v only to my AXBB just to test the connection to UCCNC. I have tried on both my desktop and Microsoft Surface Pro 3 (with USB to ethernet adapter) and get the same issue on both.
The UCxxx_utility just shows blank. If I disconnect the ethernet cable, it actually says it can't find it. But when connected, it's just blank. I see the blue link light flash on the AXBB every time I hit scan.
I'm using with an ethernet cable crossover adapter too, since it's a direct connection. I've tried without it also.
Here are my settings:

You need to use UCCNC development version 1.2019 or above:

You need to power the board with +24vdc. Can you ping the board?
