Just saw your video can you give more info on the current proximity sensor setup. This looks different than what is shown in other images I have seen. Specifically the Y axis sensors.
Has anyone tried just using air blast for cooling rather than liquid coolant? Would love to do more aluminum, but the mess.....
I have the Benchtop Pro 2436 and have had no problem machining 6061.

The most I use for 6061 on my Benchtop Pro is spray lube. I usually cut it dry with ZRN-coated tooling.
