I just started a dedicated RapidTurn group on Facebook for anyone interested. https://www.facebook.com/groups/859002391619775
I joined the group but no postings yet.
That's a shame because I regard the Tormach Mills to belong to one common system. This includes all mill variants and accessories. All issues are interrelated and all successes can be shared and appreciated by everyone, whether they own a particular accessory or not.
Creating groups for each machine type or accessory just fragments the information. I don't see how this can ultimately be of benefit.
I'm not going to be searching through a whole list of groups to see what's going on or to provide inputs. This is the only forum I read or (attempt to) contribute to and this won't change as long as this forum continues.
Just my 2 cents.

I do read facebook forums but it is difficult for me to navigate Facebook, maybe I just havent had enough practice?? Anything technical I post here on this forum, as its much easier for me to follow.

Perhaps I'm prejudiced but the technical acumen available here -- Step, keene and many others -- seems much better than on Facebook. Plus I can easily search past posts. It is a great shame to divide the expertise between multiple sites for no good reason.
Maybe I'm wrong but many FB posts seem unnecessarily terse and hard to understand. I assume that's because most users there communicate via cell phone and those tiny keyboards are too cumbersome to use for descriptive posts.
IAC, I've grown to really dislike time spent on FB. Alas, it seems to have taken over most of the new Tormach owners and this forum has a lot fewer posts than it used to.
I don't FB either. Is there a SL-15 group over there? I'd think there would be more action going on here (only Tormach forum I've found) with the 130 units sold in the last 10 months.
