    Re: Cloning

    Hi,
most CNC controllers are proprietary and therefore cloning is not legal.

The biggest and most useful exception to that rule is LinuxCNC, it is free and open source and very VERY capable.

    Re: Cloning

Cloning a 5-axis CNC lathe and using a control system without proper authorization is typically illegal. Intellectual property rights protect the designs and technologies of such machinery. It is important to respect these rights and adhere to the laws and regulations of your country. Even in a small country, laws governing intellectual property and manufacturing exist to ensure fairness and protect the interests of inventors and manufacturers.
