    1988 Chiron fz12w spindle

    I have a 1988 chiron fz12w and I am trying to figure out if the the spindle is lubricated with oil or grease. In the headstock there is a large chamber full of oil where the motor shaft connects to the spindle. I'm wondering if that is the oil reservoir for lubricating the spindle. Any details on removing the spindle would also be appreciated.
