Hi All,

I'm getting back to using my router after a very long break and I notice that every once in a while, Mach 3 thinks the E-stop has been hit and it stops everything. It happens randomly and doesn't appear to be related to any movement in wiring or any other input. It's almost as if there's some sort of hardware or software glitch in the computer as everything can be stationary with the spindle off and it triggers. I haven't really had a chance to try and trouble shot it yet but I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone else has had any experiences like this.

It could be the emergency stop button wiring problem.
Or electrical noise from nearby devices or the spindle can cause false triggers.

if it's noise then try setting the debounce interval to 50 to start , if that doesn't work then try 500 . This will delay the trip signal and should prevent noise from e stopping the machine . If it doesn't work then you have a lot of noise to weed out of the system

I just looked at an old config of one of my mills which is factory built and I had it set to 50 . I'm sure I've had higher settings on some of my builds or retrofits

Experience from past posts on the subject usually turns out to be all PWR commons not grounded to the same star point in the panel.
