Hello MACH3 Community.

I'm coming back to a little CNC machine built years ago and I need a little refresher on the parallel port.

Could you tell me, for example in table form, what are the possible "Directions" of each pin (1 to 17) in Standard mode (ESS) and in EPP mode?
Either In (Out impossible), Out (In impossible) or In/Out (both are possible).

I think this information is important because MACH3 does not check whether the pins configured correspond to the actual capabilities of the hardware!
It is even possible to specify pin numbers greater than 17 when you only have one parallel port !?
