Exclamation Y AXIS DUAL MOTORS NOT IN SYNC

My company has a ez plasma 5x10 and its been cutting just fine up until recently. its cutting curves with a stutter and the bridge moans from binding causing the cuts to be out of place. I swapped the motors and the problem is still on the one side. When I hold the bridge on the good end there's no play, but when I shake the other end there's a good amount of play. I've tightened the belt and tried slowing it down in tuning but its still cutting wrong when moving in the Y axis. Ive tightened every bolt I could find. I checked to see if the bridge or rails are bent but all looks good. The company the machine came from has not replied no matter if I call or email so im kind of on my own on this one.Id really appreciate any help.

If one side of the gantry leads or lags behind the other, especially on dual-motor systems (one per Y-axis rail),
it causes mechanical racking (twisting). This can cause stuttering, moaning, and imprecise movement.

If you're noticing play in the axis when both motors are active and should be locked, the first thing to check for is a loose coupling.
