We’ve had our IS510 for about a year and love it, but I’ve noticed a limitation with Z clearance. The advertised 12" Z height only really applies when using short bits (~4" OAL). With longer endmills (like 6" OAL), usable clearance drops quite a bit.

Has anyone extended the Z axis to allow for longer tools while keeping the full 12" clearance? Are there any kits available, or has anyone done a DIY solution?
