Where to buy brushed DC servos?

I'm thinking about converting a knee mill that is about half the size of a Bridgeport milling machine to CNC control using DC servo motors. Can someone suggest a good place where I can find these servo motors, and ball screws too?
Thank You for your time. Shane.

    Shane,

Servo's can be found at a few places, well besides straight from a manufacturer which would charge 4 times what they are worth.

Machinetoolcamp sells cnc plans, I actually bought a set, but they do sell servo's on the site.

k2cnc recently started sellilng selling servos. Most people here know who k2cnc is, their advertisement may be above this post from time to time.

As far as ballscrews, i've been looking into this a great deal lately, and still haven't found a place (that I like) to get a machinged ballscrew of a certain length, plus the ballnut preloaded, plus the mounting block (dual angular contact bearing mount). www.worldofcnc.com looks like they offer it, but have basically no details at all on their site. http://www.misumiusa.com/ looks like the best bet so far, but it takes a while (at least for me) to determine how to get everything setup to get the quote and all that online. I plan on just calling them at some point, seeing what I can get put together.

Let me know if you find any other ballscrew locations though.

Also mcmaster has ballscrews and end mounting blocks, but doesn't offer maching of the ballscrews, so that would have to be done elsewhere. Granted you could use a ballscrew without an end mounting block but if you do that you might as well use acme lead screw, as the accuracy is basically useless without a mounting block.
