Thinking of jumping into a Joe's2006 project. I'm between Charlotte and Greensboro and wonder if there's anyone nearby building (or completed) a 2006 model.

I completed one about a year ago. In Raleigh. Trying to fight the urge to make the 4x4.
Kingfish et al,
I started one but decided to put it on permanent hold. After about a week and a half of cutting parts for the JoeCNC2006 Z & Y axes Joe announced his Joe CNC 4x4 Hybrid plans (way to many Joe's in this sentence). I've been waiting ever so patiently ever since. I already have a working JGRO CNC table so I decided to save the money and invest it in the larger, mostly metal table.
It's going to be soon now! I've got to start cleaning up my work area to make some room.
Later,
HayTay
Don't be the one that stands in the way of your success!
Hey guys,
Thanks for the reply. I've sent both of you a pm.

Kingfish,
My location is in central Virginia, about 150 miles from you. I have started my Joe project by building a HobbyCNC 3 axis pro driver kit while waiting for kit delivery from Joe. I have completed the driver kit and tested it with Mach 3 running on my laptop. Be building Joe very soon.
Good to see some fellow North Carolinians on this board.
