If you're asking what it is, it's a Hexapod aka Stuart Platform. Not many of them around, sometimes that configuration is used as a pick and place robot in production lines.

This is a video I made. So nothing fancy. Just one of my small VMCs. What is different is how I mounted the camera. You travel with the workpiece, then with the tool.

    Heavy Duty Crankshaft Grinder

This is a new heavy duty crankshaft grinding machine, for grinding crankshaft pins and journals from the centre line axis by means of the grinding wheel following the crankpin.

The machine incorporates Siemens CNC control systems to facilitate the orbital movements of the grinding wheel during grinding operations of the crankshaft pins and will grind crankshafts in excess of 25 tonnes.
