    Thanks for the good idea!

This picture & file is of another wind spinner,
with the humming bird sipping nectar from a trumpet vine flower.

I need to make all the text on this logo into a stick type font so they are all single line engraving and still look like the original. I've tried wintopo with a pretty bad result.

hope this will work for you

Thanks so much to you RayinNH, and also to Mcherney. I like the text around the circle in Mcherney's version, but the text in the rest of it in RayinNH's version. I may combine the two eventually, but for now I'm using Ray's version to get some done. I'm using a macro to make copies and cutting them out of a piece of scrap stock in a vise, letting the parts drop out.

Gentlemen, teach me, I was going to try to trace the center of the text in Autocad when I had time. I get the impression that you did some file conversion mojo. Whadja do? They both look great.

They are from pieces of scrap hard anodized aluminum. Feels kinda like teflon in the hand. I just got back from church a few hours ago and they loved them. Thanks again all.

Nice cuts Gravy. I used AlphaCam to change the text, one letter at a time. The width of the font was about .040, so I would pick one side of a letter & then offset it .020 to get a line in the center.

I think what I did was use Adobe Illustrator to convert your church .pdf file to an .eps format and then used CorelDraw to change it to a .dxf file. Then I used BodCAD to change the text to a line type font. I know you can do the text conversion in CorelDraw but I'm more comfortable using BobCad.

Anyone have a drawing of a jeep frount end. Need to make a shelf for my new grandson and they want it to look like a jeep. Did a search on the web but didn't find much out there to help me. I could even use a nice picture to help with the drawing.

    Thanks
    Terry
