    Big 4th of July Sale

I just received an email from Bob with some exciting news. They are offering the V21 software for the low price of $495. The message states this offer has a $1995 retail value - WOW.

On the other hand - you could look over on Ebay where one is listed with a current auction price of $26.

    Bob on Ebay

    Joey

Just go to Ebay and search for Bobcad.

$26 is the current bid price ( that's what it was a short time ago) and it will most likely go for more money - it will surely be far under the $495 price.

Remember to factor in the $75 that Bob charges to transfer the license.

    Cool BobCAD Support

Hello, just out of curiosity. What is the cost for BobCAD-CAM technical support? Does the price include updates?

Do you mean Updates like the next Version or update patches????

Updates to the next Version costs what ever you can Haggle them down too.

    Patches are free.

Tech support is free for the first 30 days. After that I think you pay 100 or 200 for the year. But I'm not sure because I never purchase any Support with any software.

Lightbulb A library of successfully made parts with tutorials

    Gentleman,

Why not have a library of successfully made parts with tutorials that Bobcad software has generated so members can be inspired.

That is a great idea but many of my parts are Proprietary with Confidentiality Agreements mainly Government. So with that said, does any one else have parts they want to share to boost inspiration?

Sorry I couldn't help but I'm sure someone will.

    John,

Is there a mention of free parts anywhere in this thread that I might have neglected to read, other than your request?

I would be happy to participate by doing a tutorial however I do not own Bobcad.

I made the suggestion because it would be useful instead of deconstructive.

I have no idea, only you would really be able to tell.

But it does look like my previous software supplier and my credit card bills.

I certainly would pay for a tutorials book......much easier to follow a book than to follow a movie when trying to learn something . Is it too late for a book???

Actually, I do care about our customers and the things that you would like improved but I am almost at a point of losing interest in you because I have to sit and read content that seems to be written by someone with either a very low IQ or a 3 year old kindergardner that didn't get his nap. I have work to do, don't you?? So if you want results then talk to me as I have offered so many times but don't expect me to sit and read line after line of emotional bashing. Just be on point with what it is you want or need assistance with. You'll find it more productive and rewarding in the end.

Another thing, we do not suggest you upgrade to get bug fixes. Where that came from I have no idea, maybe an isolated case but we strive to get bugs fixed and that is free. Usually we also include features that are new. The next time we do that maybe you could mention it with the same vigor and zeal LeeWay. There is a line between "being helpful" and being destructive. I have offered my services and have only received 2 messages, yet I still see people going off up here. I find that interesting. I too am an advocate of Free Speech but I use it wisely and constructively as I am a consumer as well, living in the same economy as the rest of you.

As I mentioned last week and even started a thread on it...We have a new update patch release coming out this week. New features and fixes. Maybe we could hold off on the bashing until you have had a run with it.

    Thank you.

Sorry if somebody has said this, but i find it quite ironic that you said "I have to sit and read content that seems to be written by someone with either a very low IQ or a 3 year old kindergardner that didn't get his nap"

yet did not spell "kindergardner"correctly? its äctually spelled "kindergartner" from the german/dutch descent.

im no spelling nazi and misspell all the time but you can't say somebody has a low IQ or is in "kindergarden" and not spell it correctly...

Rather then people getting refunds, i hope bcc gets the hints and fixes the problems they had in the first place.

    regards
