Large OD Alum or Steel Tube

Does anyone know where to buy a large OD / ID (Outside Diameter / Inside Diameter) tube made of steel or aluminum?

I am trying to locate a tube in two sections that measure around 14" to 18" OD. Tube sections needed are about one foot each and they must match.

Anyone? Must be metal such as steel or aluminum and not plastic or similar materials. Prefer a 1/8" or 1/16" wall or something that is rigid.

    Thanks for the help!

Just go to a sheet metal guy and they can roll you whatever you want. Guess it depends on how round you need it though.

    Skilled person

A skilled person can even roll ROUND tubes.
1/4" or 3/8" is not even a drama with the techniques. Not even a flat bit at the start of the roll.
Just a perfect shape with submerged arc welding from both sides.

Take a look at nicely made gas bottles and compressor tanks as an example.

Go to your local compressed gas or propane supplier and see if you can get an out of date bottle of the correct diameter. They get too old to use as a compressed gas bottle, but maybe it will still work for you.
