I got one back in May it is a real cool addition . to manually zero the z, I just get bit close loosen set screw let bit slip to touch material , jog down if want more in collar tight set screw 2-3 seconds ... Beats the heck out off 2 wrenches .....
Now I need to make the xy automatic adaptor that is cool
Joe,
Nice job on the new zero tool. I got to make me one of them.
Got a New Web Page up, to tell about the machine more, Thanks to the help of Brian.

The web page looks great. Brian did a terrific job. Joe, You are a credit to the DIY CNC world. Keep up the good work.
And now Brian is working on a 4th Axis addition to the 4by4. I'm watching that thread with interest too.
Hopefully by the weekend. My nova g3 chuck, live center and adapter to the 5/8" drill rod is coming thursday. Going to install it this week and beef up the table while I'm at it.
Here's Jims 2x4 machine almost finished, but he is already cutting on it.
It came out nice sitting on a wood base.
