    9000 programs

    Hello all,
I did something very stupid, and now I'm begging for help. We have a Bridgeport Interact 412X with a Fanuc Series O-Mate M control (1991 machine). I was setting up the machine for drip-feeding and accidently erased all my programs. I thought I had a backup, but it's lost as well. I know this is asking a lot, but would somebody have a similar machine that could share the 9000 programs needed for tool-changing. I would appreciate any help anyone has to offer.

I will send you my 9000 toolchange program. It's from a O-MC and all in macro which I don't follow. And for a Kitamura My center 4. Maybe it will work. I 'am at home but going just now.

Tool change programs are usually pretty basic but sometimes people will over complicate them. I usually write all my own tool change programs. Let us know if you have issues with the tool change macro that Stebedeff sends you. As he stated they can be hard to follow and sometimes they can be changed for things a programmer wants that will not work in other machines.

Hardinge is the representative for Bridgeport, why don't you call them to see if they have the exact backup of the programs. Tel. is: (607)734-2281.

    Good luck.

    Stebedeff,

Thanks for the offer. I haven't seen anything yet. I don't use this forum very much, not sure if you tried sending me a PM or what. Could you please send it to lrn_martin(AT)yahoo.com.

    Thanks, Lorne
