    zax,
where are you located in Dallas? north dallas? i would like to stop by.see your machine and talk to you. i got a call from Duncanville guy who has a IEHK machine three weeks back, he had some issue on his MPC03LV PCI controller. IEHK asked for $750 for controller replacement, i fixed it by updating the firmware. i am coupled with leetro --MPC6515 and MPC03LV controller supplier to develop new software and provide customer feedback to them for possible improvement. i am glad to see a forum like this for people to share experience and exchange info, that would be good to all chinese manufacturer and customer here. you can send your contact # to my email at [email protected]

Hey Frank, I'm actually just outside the metroplex near Rockwall but do not operate as a full time business.

If you remember we have talked in the past, I was planning to replace the motor driver board with a Xylotex as that is what I use on my CNC router.

With your recommendation and further consideration I decided not to do that.

    Zax.

That's definitely a good idea, at least for the lens and a spare tube - mirrors, not so much perhaps.

Buying laser tubes later on will involve paying for freight, and they are an awkward size to pack securely.
If you get a spare with your machine, then it can be included in the crate for (probably) no extra freight charge at all.
