Hello Moraru,
do you want a PCB and build it yourself, or do you want a complete board?
I have some PCB remaining, but I am still waiting for some components to arrive.
Talking about PCBs, there was two mistakes in my design:
-soldermask on some connectors' copper (very weird. KiCAD really tricked me(nuts)). Annoying because I have to scratch the soldermask to solder the connectors...
-label error : I put the "10/16V" voltage input at the place of the ground input, so I have to put some stickers on the board
Well I guess the first order at the PCB shop often looks like that
So I fixed it up in KiCAD. (Yet I have to update the gerbers I think...)
Also fixed some typos in the manuals, made a sample wiring diagram and made a page (EN & FR) on my website... as I cannot edit my first post on the thread.
It's here >>> YAPSC:10V official webpage
MaX-MoD,
I want to build myself and test with 3ph AC motor (with encoder) with VFD ALTIVAR71 750w.
Hi Max-Mod
Could you PM me with the price per board complete & tested thanks
Mactec54
Hello,
to moraru:
I am not sure Altivars are well suited. Generally VFD have low bandwith requirement, so I am not sure it will be okay in a servo application, which needs a fast response.
but I can send you a board if you want to give it a try.

PM sent
Hello everybody,
I updated the manuals (both languages) with the corrected pinout for the power input connector. On the silk screen of the board the ground and positive voltage input for logic were swapped. I fixed that on the CAD and updated the gerbr files. Still on the gerber files, I fixed the problem of the soldermask, which is present for the connector blocs and was making them very hard to solder.
Also I included a .bat script to automatically give the right extensions to the gerber files.
Now, there is no error left.
Enjoy!

I have 3 analog Contraves NC 400 servo controllers in great working order. I would love to use these with Mach and my Break out Board. Do you know if this would work with my servos encoders that are on my machine. They are powertron servos and have the factory encoders on them. I also wonder if you coud PM me how much $ for 3 of your boards shipped to michigan.
Thank you in advance
as long as there is an analog input on the amp and quadrature encoders on the motor, it will work.
I'd need more informations (documentation) to tell precisely if it's okay or not.
Hi MaxMod,
I'm intersted in your boards for a lathe project.
The controller has just died but the drives are OK, they have +_ 10v I/p with resolvers. I will change the resolvers for encoders and use mach3.
Will you PM me a cost for a ready assembed PCB & the USB key for programming shipped to the UK.
Best regards,
Derek.
Hello everybody,
Finally I have released the first alpha of YAPSC Tuning Tool!
I had to learn a lot of C++ programming (C30 is easyer, it's only C!) and Qt and now I think I'm near to the goal
To use it, simply d/l http://max-mod-shop.com/media/yapsc10v/YTT.zip and unzip it in a directory of your choice. run YTT.exe and you're ready to go!
I don't think it'll run under windows NT/2000, I only tested under XP.
If you have any problem, just tell me and I'll try to fix it
The remaining bits are in the dsPIC code, the "step input response" tool is not implemented yet.

Any Chance of you dumping the Db9 and going to USB...
I dont even own a computer with a DB9 at this point. and my DB9-USB link is iffy in vista.
in fact, DB9 has never been used (except, indeed, during developping) cause in way of extinction!
I use a FT232 to make a RS232 port from USB. easy tu use and install : the drivers from FTDI are good and do not need to be installed under Ubuntu
look here : USB Prog Key page
I had some PCB made for it since then. Now it's bright red gold finish PCB
for two PCBs, about 10€ including shipping.
Can pm me a price for 3 complete pieces to the USA? Thanks Gerry
Hello everybody!
Today I am releasing the version 0.9.3 of the firmware and YTT Beta 1.2!
I have been working on these to fix the configuration issues that were present; now it's all gone.
The big change to the firware version are:
*Fixed configuration problem : the PID params stored in EEPROM could be lost for no valid reason. This is fixed.
*adds is the "step input response" test, which allows you to display the response curve of the servo to a step input command. This will I hope help you to fine-tune your systems
Some modifications with YTT and the firmware now allows to graph the following error and output of the servo, graphically, with update rate near to 10Hz.
Please note that you will need to update the new firmware to use the new YTT version!
YTT 1.2
Version 0.9.3 project archive
Thanks to this, you will have permanent view on your servo performance.
Also, some times ago Alex sent me some pictures and files concerning his "3X" project. This is a simple board wich simplifies the wiring of 3 YAPSC:10V boards.
It provides a connector for a parallel port, an ATX connector for all the power, jumpers to enable the boards, and terminal blocks for I/O
I haven't tried it myself, but it looks very neet and might interest you
I packed what I have from it there
Thank you Alex!
One last thing, in order to use the bootloader, a file needs fixing.
Read the text file "readme.txt" in the project archive.
Best regards to all
Max
hello max,
great project. i truly appreciate all of the work which you have done and i would also love to get one of those 3x boards you mentioned. is he selling them?
could you pm me with prices on the blank yapsc:10v board? i think i want to buy another prog key.
do you have any assembled yapsc boards?
thanks....
tecfacet
Max. What is the board on the left of alexs board?
Thanks tecfacet, I'm glad you like this projec
Concerning Alex's 3X, I don't know if he sells them. I'll ask him this evening.t!
I have only one assembled board left, but a bunch of PCB left.
seiz0r,
Concerning the board on the left, I'm not sure. I'll ask him.
Best regards
Max
Hi again,
Alex's mail is
alex_stolyarov at yahoo .com
the board he uses is the KFLOP from http://www.dynomotion.com/index.htm
He didn't planned to sell the boards, but may have some more made for him soon.
Best regards
Max
