    Talking Looking for a 180 degree torch for my new CNC machine

    Need help finding a place to buy a plasma torch for cnc that mounts on the Z drive. I am using a stock hand torch from my miller 375. If anyone has a url please post. Thanks

    I don't have a link but, what you are looing for is called a machine torch,

    Most plasma system manufactures only produce machine torches for 40 Amp and above plasma systems....as there is very little demand for smaller machine mounted torches. You should check with Miller....although most of their torches are manufactured by Hypertherm....and Hypertherm does not make a machine torch for that machine!

    modify a hand torch to a machine torch

    Thanks for the repies. For anyone interested I found some plans on how to convert a hand held torch to a machine torch. I had a spectrum 375 with the 27-c hand torch so I converted it to a machine torch. Works great.
