[Meldas]

Hi,
I just bought Dyna Myte 4400M vertical milling machine with Meldas 520 control system. Moves are ok but i cant run machine spindle or change tools automatically, i get servo alarm 0032 every time when i try run spindle. Is here anyone who knows about that one, i have pdf manuals and i find errors there but dont know what to do, is there subprogram problem or something else?

Are you sure the control is the 520? I thought the DM4400M were M3 control only.

No spindle control may be parameter related.

Can you provide the tool change macro here?

Hi,

Yes the control is 520, it^s read in information when you start the machine. Yesterday i managed change tool in mdi mode three times with these commands

G40 :
G91 G28 X0 Y0 Z0 :
T01 M06 :

Then when i try put more lines and try to start up spindle error was there...0032. So, spindle turns one times to tool change position...is that a parameter failure or broken spindle card...

Spindle orientation is performed by M19. Your successful tool change is promising that the spindle amp is working.

I would guess there are some parameters which are not set correctly. Was the spindle working when you bought the machine?

You may need to contact Mitsubishi for the correct parameters for the spindle amp. My machines are 4400M also but have the M3 controls so my parameters will not be of use with your 520.
