    Quick question regarding G540 box...

I see that a lot of you use a standard looking box with a large switch on it, similar to this one I found on keling.

I want to know, where can I get a box similar to this?

Thanks in advance. My G540 should be in this week, and I want to get it started ASAP. Also, which type of powersupply are you guys using?

I'm using the keling KL-5010 power supply. I am building the electronics into my enclosure.

    ===============================================
    KL- 5010 : $149/pcs Specification:
    Unregulated Power Supply 500W, 50VDC/10A , Input: 120VAC
    or 230VAC
Note: The transformer is CE certified

That is genius! I love that idea. I'm going to do the same thing now.

    Stombory,
you might try Bill at grifftek.com.

Look in the center of the pics.

I have bought two of those exact boxes from him with some really nice cnc kits he sold me. I saw one on his misc for sale page, so he might have one he could sell you.

    Regards,
    Devin

That's one of the scariest looking controllers I've seen in a while.:bat:

Presumably, 2 of those IEC plugs are outputs. either with mains on them switched by relays, or maybe the relay control outputs from the G540.

In either case it looks like a death trap!

They should at least be changed to IEC plugs

    Cheers,

    Peter.
