    Creating a Post for EMC2?

    Hello,
I am thinking of retrofitting a machine with EMC2.
I have experene with mach 3 and other cnc controls.
Can I use a generic post like Fanuc 6 and EMC2 will read the g-code?
Is there a list of the G and M codes supported by EMC2 so I can tweek a post to work for it?

I have not really had any real problems with mach but the EMC looks like a more reliable solution, is this correct?
    Thanks

a generic fanuc post output 6 or 10 would do fine
there are a few little things that you may have to edit by hand

    what CAM are you using?
there are some post processors on the wiki site, i have made one for camworks now working on a turning post processor for emc2 also

other people have made and shared some others also
