    mastercam lathe

    Can someone help me with mastercam lathe program...I'am in the process of learning mastercam lathe.please see the file attached.I don't know why but my "Z" toolpath went pass the 1.251 when I posted.I am very greatful if someone can help me.....

    stop your chain at the 1.251 point if you want z to stop there.

    But it wouldn't take the CANCYCLE though...I want to do a complete o.d. profile with cancycle.

    sorry at the 1.251 point draw another line to the outside of the stock and include this in your chain this will stop and rough to this line.

    Stran,
    Steve is right on this one.you will have to draw a line from the 1.251 to the outside of the stock to get the tool to stop there.
