Router to Plasma Conversion - M3 pause?

    Howdy

We've rigged our router table so it does plasma as well. And we LOVE IT!
Here is the video: [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zv0eibJ4s2M"]YouTube- CNC Plasma Table[/nomedia]

But I got a question about the g-codes. I use ArtCam to create the tool path and then move the M3 & M5 codes to the proper locations. But both of these code apparently have a pause associated with them or maybe there is some setting in Mach3 that causes them to pause to give the router which is normally installed time to spin up to speed.

Is there a way to configure this pause time. I seen other using codes other than M3 and M5, but my plasma torch is trigger by the same power cable the normally powers the router.

    Thanks

In the ports and pins configuration there is the "SPINDLE SETUP"

you can change the delays there... I'm not sure though if you set the M7 M8 to the same port/pin as your M3... if it would work without the delay on the same output... could give it a try...

then MAYBE M3 would start the router with a delay and M7 would start without??? Or would that just be a bad idea safety wise???
