RFQ - anyone have a screw machine? I need some corby bolts made

    I need bolts like these:

But made from aluminum (the above are brass and stainless steel)
using 5/16" diameter solid barstock (like the ones on the left)

I will be happy to provide exact measurements.

I just need to know roughly what you would charge, and how long it would take.

After doing the threads, the ends need to been slotted.

I would like to order around 200 sets (1 male/1 female) at a time, every 4 weeks or so.

This would be an ongoing order, not just one time.

Let me know if you're interested.

    I'm ready to order now.

    Thanks!

Haven't been on in a while. Have you purchased these already?

Thanks for the great response, guys. I replied to the PMs.

Here are the specs I'm looking for:

Screw head is 0.312" diameter and 0.375" long
Shaft is 0.218" diameter and the female end is 0.350" long
Overall length when assembled is 1.100"
Slots are 0.050" deep and 0.040" wide
Aluminum grade - whatever you think would offer the best strength to cost ratio.
    Finish - no anodizing needed.
Threads - whatever works best for your tooling.

I would just need one prototype and if it works, then I'm good for at least 200/month.

I need to know a price to do 200 and a reliable time-frame. If doing 500 gets me a better price, then I can do that...just not as frequently.

    Whichever works best for you.

    Thanks!

    Dan
