I've been using my Zen 12x 12 with Mach 3 for a while now with no issues. All of the sudden I'm running into issues where the Z axis wants to go the wrong direction at times.... One specific time it does this is during the Z axis calibration (Z- button). I'm using the "MachBlue - probing big tex ver3.2" screenset that has the touch test on the Program Run screen.
I actually think my problems started when I tried to run the "Initial Zero Setup" script found on the Program Run screen. It did not want to work correctly (reversed Z axis) so I stopped it. ever since then I've had problems with the Z axis going crazy. It would go threw the calibration touching the plate, going up a bit then down slowly till it touched again, and instead of going Up as it should it plummets down into my touch plate!
Has anyone ran into this type of issue before? If so please help me get my machine behaving correctly again!
It seems as though I can cut some stuff when I manually zero the Z axis but just a minute ago I tried cutting a piece and 1/2 way threw the Z decided to bore all the way strait down... The DRO actually changes to a much higher positive number making the machine think it is way high when its not. I'm cutting slow so its not a skipped steps issue... What is going on!
